Frequently asked questions

Is the 1-hour consultation really free?

Yes. The 60-minute video call and the written follow-up summary are both completely free, with no obligation to engage giantA afterwards. We offer it because most NSW planning mistakes happen in the first hour of a project, and we'd rather help you avoid them than sell to you.

What should I prepare before the call?

Have your site address ready, plus any survey, concept sketches or previous advice you've already received. After you book, we'll email you a short pre-call questionnaire. It takes about 5 minutes to complete and means we spend the hour on answers, not background.

Do I need to live in Sydney or NSW?

You need to be planning a project in NSW. giantA is based at Parramatta Square in Sydney, but all consultations are virtual — we regularly advise clients across Greater Sydney, the Illawarra, the Central Coast, Newcastle and regional NSW.

Will I get a written quote after the consultation?

You'll receive a written follow-up within 1 business day summarising the discussion and the recommended next steps. If you'd like to proceed, a detailed fee proposal for design, BASIX/NatHERS assessment or documentation services is prepared separately after that.

Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?

Yes. Every confirmation email includes a reschedule link and a cancel link. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice where possible so the slot can be offered to another client.
